Training low-income population in the concepts of recycling, biodegradation and renewable resources.

This project aimed Social Development population the inhabitants of the emerging industrial areas of South Lima (Villa el Salvador, Villa María del Triunfo and San Juan de Miraflores) whose districts had problems in waste management and environmental pollution affecting life quality of its inhabitants. The project succeeded in raising awareness to spare people the importance of handling such waste and the impact on improving the quality of life can be achieved by organizing recycling systems, use of biodegradable materials and renewable resources. The public awareness to these issues was conducted through lectures, seminars and free workshops open and intended for the inhabitants of these areas.

The project was conducted in collaboration with the company T & T Engineering and Construction SA who provided materials and snacks at meetings.
